Hello Bob
You seem to be keeping busy with providing codes for the South receivers. Why do the codes expire?
This seems to be a huge deal- breaker for me buying into this brand.
I imagine this would be an even greater issue if I were to buy the units second- hand- I would have no dealer to contact for a code

HI @adrian,

A lot of code requests you see here are from people that bought it second hand elsewhere or through a Chinese website, equipped with a temporary code. And since they didnā€™t buy it from us we canā€™t provide the code as we donā€™t have access to receiver codes not purchased through us. Global GPS Systems

So yea if you buy it through a Chinese supplier you run the risk of getting stuck with a receiver that doesnā€™t work.

South receivers bought through us always come with a permanent code. This code sometimes could take up to 2 weeks to deliver as they need to be approved by the factory.

I guess the Chinese supplier might be cheaper but there is a potential deal-breaking downside.
