Hi everyone,
Following up on my project setup issues: I’ve run into a significant unit mismatch in EGStar 5.0.
When setting up a project, under the unit settings, the only distance options available are Meters, Centimeters, Milimeters, and Foot. However, selecting Foot appears to default to International Feet rather than US Survey Feet.
This difference creates a 3 to 4-foot shift in my Northings/Eastings when checking against local benchmark control points.
Is there a workaround or a specific sequence in EGStar to force US Survey Feet?
Is US Survey Foot tied directly to selecting a specific Projection / Coordinate System predefined file (.crt or custom parameters)?
Or is there a configuration file/setting where custom linear units can be defined?
If anyone working with US State Plane coordinates in EGStar 5.0 has resolved this shift, I’d really appreciate your guidance!
