I’m new to this forum, and I’m hoping someone here can help me with an issue.
I recently purchased a second-hand SOUTH YF2 GNSS receiver. However, when I turn it on and it acquires a position, I get the following voice message:
“Restricted Area, Please Update Code. The Code Is Expired.”
I suspect the receiver has an E-Fence regional restriction that prevents it from operating in my location (Puerto Rico).
Has anyone experienced this issue before or knows how to resolve it? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
