What seems to be the issue regarding the IMU in FG? Its not working or do you have issues setting it up?

we have problems with the setup. I haven’t seen the correct procedure anywhere.
Sometimes the IMU starts to work without I know why and sometimes even if I swing the receiver in all directions it doesn’t start.
Is there any tutorial for proper initialization ?

FG for Windows, we use tablet Panasonic FZ-G1

FG IMU FUNCITON OPERATION
- First make sure the FG version is at least 10.4.0
-
Select IMU driver SOUTH- RTK IMU (No need to select different receiver type, because this driver can detect different GNSS antenna parameter itself!)

Connect the receiver BT, set the correction and make it get fixed solution, then go to configuration, to set the antenna height

Then activate the electronic bubble

After click close button here, it need short time to activate the IMU sensor, then the receiver will give voice message the tilt sensor is not available, You can start to shake the pole to initialize the IMU. When it finished, the collection button will turn to ‘RTK fixed’ from’Init IMU Shake’. Now, you can start your IMU collection now.

We followed the same procedure, but it still doesn’t work.

how long it takes ???
You can start to shake the pole to initialize the IMU
shake, like a cocktail at a bar :), or sway from side to side in a cross ?

Do you also selected the menu “Tilt Rejection” under the “Electronic Bubble” ? You need select it and set the angle from 0.5 degree to 60 degree there.
