How do I establish height with a total station South A1X

Hey everyone!

This is my very first time that I am using a total station, and I try to establish the height. The height coordinates that it gives me now are way off.

Currently it is just standing on my table because this is the first time that I am using it. But it can’t be accurate that my table is 1.57m in height.

If somebody can explain to me what I should do, that would be very much appreciated.

if i understand correctly, you are trying to calculate te instrument height by measuring the floor with reflectorless mode.
the instrument calculates the instrumrnt height at the side dot (center of the telescope axis) and not the base of the tribach.
